Spam hoard

Now that we have changed mail servers to a service that will let you acumulate spam, we will see how many we get before it starts emptying itself (30 days). Here, on day 9 we are up to 1300+… Any bets on the final count?

Since changing the Shackelford email to Gmail, we have had amazingly little spam! It is remarkable! and so nice!

Is that just yours, Daniel, or does it include the other residents of your kingdom?

That would just be the daniel at shackelford dot org address. Bethany at - forwards there, but none of her spam makes it this far. My address was out there for a while and was listed on some Asia sites, so I may be getting a larger than normal share…

I have to say I get no spam, and keep wondering where it comes from. Or to whom? After I went with Verizon DSL I got caught up in their anti-spam deal. First it was that I could only send four boxes of names at a time. Used to line up Ray’s and mine and send them all at one time. Then they stopped me altogether for 24 hours and I spoke to a lady and asked what gives. I told her we had had large Sunday School classes over the years, so she fixed it so I can do what I want. But still only four boxes at a time. Weird.

Hey, thanks Luke. Fun listen. I have bought a few of his albums on allofmp3, and he is the main ingredient in my “lazy” iTunes list.

Gpa, as a System Admin who has been responsible for keeping spam out of my network, it is a dificult balance to permit those who have large networks of people, yet dump all the junk. I am glad you don’t see any in your inbox, and that says a lot for both your ISP and your browsing habits. Looks like you are picking up some good strategies, like using other people’s sites… ;-)
