funny, i just re-did my dual OS system as well. With the new Breezy Badger out from Ubuntu, i've updated. Was a little nervous moments with regards to partitions and such, but went without a hitch really, and i'm super pleased with the results. I'll be using linux more in the coming weeks as I figure it out better. still not much of a hacker, but am growing. I managed to access my NTFS files before with the previous ubuntu distro, but will have to puzzle through it again for this new one. the roller on my trackpad finally works. (c:

It's on my laptop of 40 G, so i split it evenly between the two systems (XP home and BB). Now i'm gonna gear up for a refresher reformatting/reinstallation of my XP side so it's uncluttered. I've gone through a lot of programs and believe there is a lot of lingering material from all of those uninstalls. Messy. Seems slower than when i got it. maybe time for a new computer come March or so.
